Chroma did such a great job with the mini site for Sky Sports' 2008 Epic campaign, our mates over at Brothers & Sisters (Sky Sports' uber-agency) approached us with yet another exciting project. This time it was to promote the 2009 action-packed summer sporting calendar.
All the latest news and results from sporting events like The Ashes, the US Open Tennis, British & Irish Lions Tour and the ICC World Twenty20 were all featured on this attractive and easy-to-navigate mini site.
The strategy behind the mini site was simple; create a platform that would give visitors easy access to information about the sporting events while encouraging them to sign up or upgrade their Sky Sports package.
The design features a typical locker room. Seated in front of each locker, a star representing each sport is below a timer counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the start of the event.
There is also the chance to check out Sky Sports Summer of Sports' telly advert, download wallpapers, screen savers and wall charts as well as accessing the Live Score Centre.
There goes the summer, then.
