PHP developer

We're a digital agency with great clients in TV, media and sports. We work in loft-style offices near London Bridge and the culinary delights of Borough Market. We eat and drink well.

We're looking for a lively, talented and ambitious middleweight PHP developer to help develop and work alongside our friendly and talented technology team. You will work across a broad range of projects, both large and small. This role will require both front-end and back-end skills.

The ideal candidate will have a familiarity of at least three of the following areas

• Very good cross-browser HTML and CSS
• Javascript (and familiarity with jQuery, Dojo or YUI)
• Model View Controller application architecture
• Relation Database design and a good grounding in SQL (preferably MySQL)
• XML, XPath and XSLT
• Object-Oriented PHP 5
• PHP Frameworks (Codeigniter, Symphony, Cake, Zend, Yii or similar)

Any of the following would also be a bonus

• Version Control (ideally Subversion)
• Aptitude for a Linux environment
• Linux System Administration
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non technical people
• Client facing/handling skills
• Computer Science degree
