Lead PHP Developer

Chroma is a digital agency with a high profile client list including TV, media, sports and corporate clients. Our offices are near London Bridge.

We're looking for a talented and experienced PHP developer to lead our small and skilful technology team.

This role will play a key part in the growth of the company and the successful candidate will be expected to support the management team in developing new business, improving processes, and be hands on with ongoing projects.

You will work across a broad range of large and small projects along with ongoing maintenance and customisation of our successful sports applications.

The ideal candidate will have familiarity of the following areas:

• Very good cross-browser HTML and CSS
• Javascript (and familiarity with jQuery, Dojo or YUI)
• Model View Controller application architecture
• Relation Database design and a good grounding in SQL
• XML, XPath and XSLT
• Object-Oriented PHP 5
• PHP Frameworks (Symphony, Cake, Zend, Codeigniter or similar)
• Agency experience and client facing skills

Any of the following would also be a bonus:

• Version Control (ideally Subversion)
• Aptitude for a Linux environment
• Linux System Administration
• Computer Science degree
