Founded in 1972, ActionAid has been fighting poverty worldwide for over 30 years. In 2003, ActionAid's work reached almost 13 million people in Africa, Asia and the Americas.
ActionAid relies primarily on donations from the public to provide assistance to those who have a daily struggle for basic means of living due to poverty. As part of their fight against poverty, ActionAid endeavours to educate people on the needs of those less fortunate and how they can do their bit to improve someone's life. Digital media provide outstanding platforms for this education and Chroma is honoured to play a part in this. Our most outstanding achievement to date with ActionAid was the award-winning Adivasi March application which celebrated the 20th anniversary of Adivasi Day.
